Meet K. Alan Stokes

K. Alan Stokes is a gifted author, storyteller, and minster centering his message on the blessedness of righteous relationships with the LORD, through the leading of the Holy Spirit. K. Alan has earned a BS in Psychology and Masters in Pastoral Counseling, both from Oral Roberts University. He went on to achieve a Doctor of Ministry from Liberty University in May of 2024.

From this educational foundation, K. Alan strives to integrate principles of psychological wellness with spiritual uprightness within his speaking engagements, teaching, and writing endeavors. He is resolute in his efforts to live his life as an example of God’s grace, mercy, and empowerment.

As a native North Carolinian, he continues to make his home in the state’s Piedmont region with his beloved wife, Sheila. Continuing Covenant is his debut book.

Meet  Sheila Smalls-Stokes

Sheila Smalls-Stokes, K. Alan Stokes; wife, and an eyewitness to the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Sheila will be a powerful anchor to Born To Know Him Ministries.



The experience gained from this intriguing career has allowed her to help others physically, mentally, as well as spiritually. The growth in professional and personal maturity has allowed her to realize the guidance she receives from the Holy Spirit in providing care to others is the most important aspect of her position.

As her journey continues, she faithfully looks forward to God leading her into the next chapter of life.
